A snack is a quick delight, a treat for in-between. As there is often very little content wrapped in a whole lot of packaging, the soft-drink cans, chocolate bars and chip bags become ubiquitous material objects of everyday life. Within a conventional ice cream truck sitting the observation deck of the St. Pauli Elbtunnel, a first edition of the project's prologue was by produced with artist Elif Saydam and artist chef Paula Erstmann in September 2020. In the context of Gegenwart: Doing Youth, three further editions are now available in three kiosks in Harburg, Barmbek and St. Pauli. These are works by Anna Haifisch, Ella Fleck and Nadine Janetzky, wrapped and filled with the snacks of Paula Erstmann.
